A lot of small businesses are still on email that came bundled with a domain years ago, or on free accounts that look less professional than the business behind them. We move you onto Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace with email on your own domain, shared calendars, file storage, and accounts you control.
Migrations are planned so nothing is lost and no one misses mail: we copy existing mailboxes, contacts, and calendars, switch delivery over in the background, and then catch anything that arrived during the move. Most small offices switch over a weekend.
We also fix the settings that decide whether your email gets delivered. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records tell receiving servers your mail is legitimate. Major providers like Gmail and Yahoo now require them for bulk senders, and missing records are a common reason invoices and replies go to spam. Then we turn on multi-factor authentication for everyone, because a hijacked mailbox is one of the most expensive problems a small business can have.
Call us if…
- your business uses a free Gmail, Yahoo, or AOL address
- your email is still bundled with your domain registrar
- clients say your emails land in spam
- a former employee still has an active mailbox
- you're not sure whether MFA is turned on for everyone
- someone in the office got phished

NEW YORK / WHAT WE SEE ON CALLS
Why email trips up small offices.
Bundled registrar email
Email that came with a domain years ago often lacks modern security and admin tools. Moving off it is a common first project.
Spam-folder invoices
Missing SPF, DKIM, or DMARC records send legitimate mail to spam — costly when it's an invoice or a proposal.
Mailbox takeovers
Business email compromise is one of the costliest cybercrimes. MFA and sign-in alerts stop most of it.

FAQ / MICROSOFT 365 & GOOGLE WORKSPACE
Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace questions, answered.
Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace — which is better for a small business?
Both are excellent. Microsoft 365 fits teams that live in Word, Excel, and Outlook, or need desktop Office apps. Google Workspace fits teams that work in the browser and share documents constantly. We'll recommend one based on how your team works and what software you already use.
How long does an email migration take?
For a small office, the move itself usually happens over a weekend, with planning a few days before and a follow-up check the week after. Larger mailboxes and more users take longer, and we schedule around your busy times.
Will we lose email during the switch?
No. We copy existing mail before switching delivery, then run a final pass to catch anything that arrived during the cutover.
Why are my emails going to spam?
The most common cause is missing or incorrect SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records on your domain. Other causes include sending from a free email address, a domain with a poor reputation, or links and attachments that look suspicious. We check your records and fix them.
Can you move us off GoDaddy email?
Yes. We migrate mailboxes from GoDaddy-hosted email to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace directly, which gives you full admin control and modern security features.
How much does it cost?
Microsoft and Google bill their licenses directly. Our setup and migration work is billed at $79 an hour remotely with a flat quote first, and ongoing administration is included in our Core managed IT plan.
